Inbound Marketing Coordinator – Job Description



As an Inbound Marketing Coordinator, you will support an exciting new program initiative and will be responsible for the following:

• Developing the strategy to fuel our online growth

• Growing the brand’s web traffic, social reach and generating online mentions

• Executing a comprehensive inbound marketing plan that drives audience awareness and engagement across marketing channels (including, but not limited to, search engines, Facebook, Twitter, niche blogs, etc.)

• Managing outreach and link building efforts to drive visibility within search engines and ultimately generating program inquiries from the website

• Ideating and collaborating on the creation of marketing assets (blog content, data visualizations, graphics, guides, etc.) in conjunction with Marketing Directors, Content Editors and Designers

• Acquiring a deep understanding of our target markets and how to best navigate influencers within it; building and maintaining relationships with these individuals

• Reporting weekly and monthly KPI’s

• Identifying industry trends and tools to support marketing campaigns and objectives; becoming an influencer in your vertical.

How you will measure success:

• Overall web & blog traffic growth (social, search & other referral websites)

• Quality/quantity of mentions generated via outreach and social engagements

• Opportunities/partnerships created and leads generated via inbound marketing activities

• Size of following acquired across social channels and ability to gain consensus

• Bachelor’s degree required or comparable experience/education

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Docs a plus

• Strong business development skills are a plus

• Has 1 – 2 years of proven experience with public relations, inbound / content marketing, search engine optimization (SEO) OR social media / community management

• Has a strong understanding of inbound marketing fundamentals: SEO / outreach, content marketing, analytics, social media and community building

• Possesses outstanding written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate equally effectively to prospects, advocates and executives

• Is socially enabled: experience with Facebook Pages, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Google+

• Is digitally enabled: experience and/or familiarity with WordPress (or CMS), Buzzstream, seoMoz, Google Analytics, Salesforce or CRM experience a plus
